SPAN OF ATTENTION
It is a Psychological Experiment to find level of attention in human being.
TITLE- span of attention
Objective :- To determine the span of attention and span of visual apprehention
Hypothesis:- span of visual apprehention gradually decrease with increase in number of stimuli
Apparatus and material used :- (i) Tachistoscope{Falling door apparatus}
(ii) Ten card showing dots varying from three to twelve on each card
(iii) Record sheet (iv) Graph paper (v) Stationery

Description of the apparatus :- The apparatus is mounted on a wooden frame and the front is covered bby a metalic sheet which is pained as black.In the middle of the metalic front there is rectangular wooden box fitted with a glass through which material used in the experiment may be exposed . Cards of the size of the slit are inserted inside the box & kept tight behind the glass with the help of a fitted spring. on the back site of the apparatus there is a metalic door with a bigger slit.The door is used for exposing experimental material through the slit in the apparatus.A releaser is trhere to release the falling door.
PROCEDURE :- To perform the experiment I prepared ten cards with varying Dots from 3 to 12 . The apparatus was placed before the subject inn such a way that the subject could see the card clearly.Then I explain the nature of of the experiment by giving instruction as
" You will be shown some cards with Dots in them.Each cards will be shown to you only for fration of second, so you have to give full attention.After seeing the cards you have to say the numbers of Dots you have seen.Is it clear ? please try to concentrate ? "
After that I put the cards at the slit and asked the subject to be ready.In the mean time I released the falling door and b then the subject report the number of Dots he has seen..the procedure is repeated for 50 times and records are taken in a worksheet.

Result:- and Graphical presentation are shon in photo.
OBSERVATION :-
ON THE BASIS OF RESULT THE OBSERVATION IS MADE.
The subjects span of visual apprehension for the first 5 cards being 100% and for rest was
80% 90%, 60% ( it varies with subject)
Conclusion:- The hypothesis is true.
I can't find any graphical presentation photo here. .Plz post that photo
